WAP has added a new dimension to the use of mobile phones through the introduction of new data-oriented mass-market services. In this paper we try to present the functioning, uses, limitations and security associated with WAP. WAP is the future of the wired LAN/MAN and it is gaining popularity due to its ease of use, simplicity and efficiency.en_US
