dc.description.abstract | Indian Libraries are facing the problems to meet the user(s) requirements. It may be due to exponential growth in literature, price escalation, budget restrictions etc. In turn the number of books/journals purchased by libraries have gone down. This demands the library professionals to think of alternative ways and mechanism to fulfill the users needs within the available budget. In recent past consortia receiving lot of attention from the information producing and managing community to face the unending fiscal constraints.
