Hence, this study was undertaken to find out if (Academic) Librarians produce research; if so, what is their share amongst authors of LIS research published from India. It was found that Indians are the largest contributors of LIS literature published from India, that nearly entire LIS literature published from India is contributed by LIS fraternity only, and that, among all Indian authors of LIS literature published from India, share of Academic Librarians is larger than LIS Faculty.en-USBibliometricsAuthorship PatternResearch ProductivityLIS FacultyAcademic LibrariansAuthorship of Indian LIS literatureArticle
