It discusses the various factors involved in the process of formation of consortium. It also attempts to identify an outline to develop various information products and services offered by the consortia. It explores the possibilities of establishing the consortium of a group of institutions. The strategic plan of the Consortium for the institutions run by the Mahatma Education Society has been discussed.
