Due to the nature of knowledge flow traditional knowledge, needs to be documented so that we will not lose the knowledge and can use it for problem-solving activities for living beings and the benefit of the planet Earth. Documentation of Traditional Knowledge is a process of collecting, classifying, recording, preserving, and communicating the information in a readily accessible form which is an indispensable aspect of libraries. Traditional herbal medicine practices are an integral part of various communities inhabiting Assam.
