dc.description.abstractGives a clear picture about ETD repositories of India. Provides the basic information about the Shodhganga repository. Attempts to find out the status of universities of Assam registered in Shodhganga. On basis of this, the paper presents a comparative study among the universities of Assam about their status and contribution to Shodhganga. Concludes that Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) are a positive development in graduate education, allowing broader exposure of graduate student research and opportunities for new forms of creative scholarship.en_US
