Suggests how LIS education can update competencies and skills needed to sustain in digital environment. Also discusses some issues of human management and declining work cultures in institutions, suggesting measures of capacity building through developing need-based curriculum in LIS Departments, creating, and providing more and more opportunities to in-service professionals through continued learning and education.
